Why is the first country to mix government and Christian principals the most prosperous nation in the world?
Do you think it is just a coincidence? if you do, you still have to admit it is pretty interesting. Why is the most prosperous nation in the world the one that was founded on Christian principals? The bill of rights and the constitution both directly quote heavily from the bible. Don’t be confused, America was definitely founded on Christian ideas and concepts.

Leave ALL Gods out of our government
I was unaware that Armenia (founded as a Chrsitian nation in 301 A.D.) was the most prosperous nation in the world.
Have you read the Constitution? That is generally considered our founding document. Can you explain some of those Biblical quotes? I’m also interested in the ones in the Bill of Rights.
Sadly, our text books in public schools have been cleansed of any reference to the faith of the founding fathers, how pervasive religion and faith were at the time of the founding and the great speeches, quotes and books written by the founders reflecting their great faith. Kids these days no nothing of that and spew about the “separation of church and state” as if it were the guiding principle of our government. We are now a post-christian nation with no idea of our roots. Will we go the way of Rome, just faster?
Okay, but you question is fallible because of the representation of your concept - you imply that America is the first Country to combine the religious masses with the administrative economy.
This simply is not true - that privilege if you can call it that goes to Rome, who originally did it with their own pantheon of gods.
Let’s see, Rome, Spain, Germany, Portugal, just which government are you talking about?
You have not read any history.
The constitution does not quote the bible.
If people remember correctly - according to my history books anyways, people came to the USA to practice freedom of religion and escape taxes. It’s funny how now neither are true.
To the guy who said that we are in an economic crisis and are going down - try saying that to someone from Dominican Republic, Cuba, South America, Mexico, Africa, India, etc.. seriously.
Actually, this country was not founded on Christian principles. If it was, we would be in a Christian theocracy. NOT a free nation. The founding fathers wanted to break away from Britain, a nation controlled by the church.
But even if we are the most “prosperous” nation. (we have economic issues) We are hated by allot of other people in the world….
What country is that?
WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT BOY
WE ARE IN A REAL DAM CRISES WITH THIS COUNTRY ECONOMY .
The US was founded on the premise of freedom of religion. Not Christianity.
The Primary Principle of Christianity is to provide avenues of acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; not to legislate morality. Yes indeed the our nation’s Bill of Rights and Constitution stems from Judeo-Christian values; its catalyst was instilled by oppression of government regulating religious practices. If the principles of guidance is the litmus test; then the issuers should be prepared to live up to the standard regulated upon others; otherwise hypocrisy runs rapid.
This country was settled by those looking to escape religious prosecution - you know - where christians killed and beheaded other christians?
And our country’s laws and principals were based largely on England’s magna carter.
The only one confused here is you.
So many contradictions and inaccuracies in your post. It is principles, not principals. What Christian principles are you talking about? Are they exclusively Christian? It can be argued that both documents you mention are based on common principles of decency. Some of the founders were Unitarians, quite different from some of today’s bible-quoting Christians who don’t hesitate to force their *opinion* and *beliefs* on others. Lastly, I’m not too sure that we are the most prosperous nation today. Just witness our markets.
