@PureGraceEvangelism I say you better fear… It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Heb 10:31). Fear is the beginning of knowledge, wisdom, etc. (Pro 1:7, 9:10). (Psalms 96:9) “Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth”.
Prosperity isn’t a bad thing as long as you follow God’s will as you are prosperous. For example someone who is rich is able to sow plentiful into the work of the Kingdom. Imagine if Bill Gates came to Christ how much of an impact he can have in the kingdom through his financial prosperity as well as even within his spheres of influence. There are missionaries including myself that are waiting to be sent and the only thing holding most back is financial issues.
What do we know about heaven? There is no suffering, there is no poverty (streets are made of gold and gems are everywhere)there is no sickness, In heaven we are not going to have any need. We will not be lacking anything. In Matt 6 Jesus told us to pray let your Kingdom come let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. It is God’s desire that all those things that exist in heaven to exist here on earth. I speak blessing on you, & pray you will encounter God in a really tangible way
God may make us prosper & if He does, that’s great & we can bless the Church with our wealth. However, John Piper is spot on to tell us not to seek the gifts. Neither Jesus nor St. Paul went on about how to become rich.
The devil has corrupted us & made us greedy. Prosperity gospels are now commonplace (on God Channel etc) & we often hear messages of comfort, ease & wealth, instead of how to mature in the Lord, & then being sent out to preach the true gospel of Jesus’ salvation.
Go out into all the world and……..fly Learjets?

@rcardona2001 2Cor 8v9. I think those that don’t desire the prosperity gospel have nothing to be concerned about as Jesus says we will have what we say. Let the Lord be magnified who delights in the prosperity of His servants (O.T) children (N.T). I believe this therefore I speak.

Look at the life of Jesus Christ in the Bible as THE example to live. Simple and practical. Nothing wrong with having loads of money byut still can and should live simply. Not showy. Sigh… it is not easy. Those who have money want more money. Those who have house want more houses. It reveals a heart not given over to Him completely.

Not saying that I disagree with the whole video but rather that I don’t entirely agree. I don’t believe it is ok to be living in an abundance of wealth without having any conviction of giving to others that are in need.
The prosperity ministers are just the sort of false apostles that Paul preached against in the book of Galatians. These people are evil and preach a gospel not found in the Bible.

This is far from a message of fear and condemnation but one of conviction… The point of this clip is to 1.expose how the prosperity gospel promises people things that may never come to pass and 2. address those who are intrigued by it because they desire a more comfortable life… The prosperity gospel is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ by any means… The prosperity gospel is heresy

For u shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for u neither go in urselves nor do u allow those who are entering to go in” Matt 23 When u hear a teaching that puts fear in ur heart that is not the Gospel. The good news of Jesus liberates His perfect Love removes all fear , imparts faith & exalts the finished work of Jesus on the cross
