Why do some people believe they are prosperous & others see lack all the time?
I used to believe I was prosperous & now I can’t remember what that was like, I want to change my perspective but feel stuck. I think if I could change my mind my life would change.

Repeat this to yourself over and over…
master yourself and master the universe. you are right though… if you change your perspective you will change your outlook. but all the positivity in the world won’t make up for lack of a plan
make a plan, chart a course, and get going ;)
It is the same as the adage of Optimism verses Pessimistic and also the glass being half full or half empty.
This is somewhat of a personal perception in life. Some people are just naturally optimistic and others are the opposite.
To change you must first start by thinking of everything you are blessed with right down to the ability to see beauty in nature and your health.
Anything else that is bad or negative in your life can be changed into a positive by finally making decisions that most of us realize we need to make but doing the right thing for ourselves can be the hardest thing to do at times.
We are our own worst enemies.
As soon as you think of a negative thought, remove it immediately and replace it with a positive one. I know this sounds totally crazy but I was under a tremendous amount of stress last year and the moment I was able to do this, good things started to happen to me. It was amazing how the power of your thoughts alone can change things.
When you said yourself that you think if you could change your mind that your life would change, you hit the nail on the head.
It’s changing your mental outlook and more than changing your mind, it’s changing your mindset.
Anything bad you allow to remain in your mind will damage you with stress and other negative things but anything positive that you can hold tight in your mind allows so much better things into your life.
I am a Christian and believe in God and I also believe this works whether you believe or not but mind over matter or what I believe was me finally handing over ALL my problems to God and not taking them back for the 1st time in life did wonders for me.
Try it; it won’t hurt.
I’ve also lived in chronic pain from a car accident 10yrs ago this entire time and was able to finally free my mind but not the 24/7 pain. If I can do this when I have an incurable chronic pain disease, I believe in you.
I see your point. You may be right.
It is unobjectionable that everyone, ultimately, is different. Think of the things that make you different from others. Rather than trying to overcome your deficiencies, capitalize on your strengths. Take those things that make you different which are strengths and embrace them, refine them, and focus on them. Do this habitually and eventually, because you are focused on them, they will begin to consume your role as a human being.
I’m not going to fanatically give you a bunch of religious mumbo-jumbo, but praying is always good. Really, really, focus on those strengths while your praying so that they may consume your identity.
Reject the deficiencies that you have from preoccupying your mind. We all have them. The difference is whether or not they preoccupy your mind and consume your identity. But really, your identity is what you make it. So yeah, focus on strengths.
As far as finding a job, perfect your resume. Write it again and again. Also, be a bulldog; go in their, or other places, and insist that you are the person for the job.
I guess it’s from an insatiable urge to always want more. People take things for granted, and they don’t realize what they have until it’s gone.
