Why does America deserve prosperity and happiness?
America has already enjoyed its turn at happiness and prosperity. The rest of the world needs a chance to enjoy the easy life. President Obama will be the one to ensure that the rest of the world comes before the USA (for a CHANGE!). Finally after more than 200 years, we will finally have a President that will make this country something we can be proud of!

What a MIS-placed question. The USA only achieved pre-imminence in the world AFTER World War II. NOT two hundred years ago.
Do you really believe that it is the DUTY of the President to see that America fails? I thought he takes an oath to defend and protect the CONSTITUTION of the United States.
You might want to ask some of your OLDER relatives what it was like during the Great Depression in the 1920s and 30s —
America doesn’t “deserve” prosperity and happiness, as in being “entitled” to it. We work hard and we should be rewarded for that. America gives tons and tons of money to other countries, via government and charity out of the goodness of our citizens’ hearts. What more can we do than that? Be forced by Obama to “redistribute” our income to others? Where is the incentive to work if that is the case? What more do we need to do to make us proud? UGH, you people make me crazy.
Because americans are the best workers, and their inventions and hard working spirit is the best in the world.
(even though i haven’t been out of the country and everyone seems to be working pretty damn hard - and looks pretty damn clever to me - over there - when i see them on the tele).

If you’re an overachiever, he’ll share your hard work with those who sit on their azzes. But don’t let that get to you. After all, everyone deserves prosperity,…right? Even if it’s at the expense of your own sweat.
It has nothing to do with deserving. Happiness is fleeting, a mere feeling that comes and goes….Prosperity is a gift, Wisdom. When you have a Godly leader, who loves The Lord, hears from the Lord and obeys, the people are content and prosperous. It’s The Word of God, it’s just how it is. It’s proven that when countries turn to God, they become a democracy, have freedoms that they didn’t have before and become prosperous.
When a country turns from God, and practices things like sodomy, murdering the unborn and committing other autrocities, they eventually fail…or fall. You know, Sodom and Gamora and the fall of the Roman Empire. Read what was happening in the empire just before it fell.
Don’t you worry, if this country continues to become more and more immoral in it’s legal decisions, and especially if the government continues to try to take land away from Israel, it will no longer be the happy, free, prosperous place it used to be. Look what’s been happening since Condoleeza Rice has been helping to toss Israeli’s off their land…….tornados, hurricanes, stock market crashing….if we continue to leave the protection of the Blessings of God, you’re going to get what you asked for.
