What is the reason that countries like Canada, USA and Australia are so prosperous?
Those three are likely the most prosperous countries to emerge from colonial status. Why is this? Other colonies that became countries are much less prosperous such as: South Africa, Brazil, India, Jamaica, Botswana and Kenya.
Can you explain why in a geographical sense?

And many more factors..
Countries such as Canada, USA, and Australia are prosperous because globalization and historical imperialism gave wealth to Europe, Canada, and the US. I don’t think there is a geographic reason for this. Also many other countries do not support democracy and are ruled by totalitarian and corrupt governments which use loans provided from funds such as the World Bank and IMF to support their brutal regimes.
The land hasn’t been fully used up like in Europe, they have a good amount of temperate climate zones, they have a lot of European influence, and, sadly, because the natives who didn’t use everything they could get their hands on and believed in respect for nature were pushed away, converted, or killed.
